ABOUT UNCEP
In 2022, the seeds of UNCEP were sown in response to a pressing need. The people of Sri Lanka faced a critical food shortage, with many struggling to access basic necessities like dried food. Witnessing this hardship, we couldn't stand idly by. Fueled by a deep conviction that everyone deserves a chance to thrive, we embarked on a mission of support.
UNCEP's story began on the road. We embarked on village-to-village outreach programs across Sri Lanka, directly delivering dried food supplies to those in need. This initial effort highlighted the importance of education, health, and cultural understanding in building a more resilient future.
From these humble beginnings, UNCEP blossomed. The unwavering resolve and support we received from the community propelled us forward. We recognized the need for a more sustainable approach to empowerment, leading us to develop the core areas we focus on today: education, healthcare, and fostering cultural exchange.
